Zarina Crockett is a San Francisco-based writer and filmmaker whose work explores Black life, film, and cultural history, with a focus on community and memory. She has written for Interview Magazine and TransLash. She is currently in pre-production for her horror film, “Queen Underground,” and post-production for a documentary film called “Unseen Class,” for which she is the assistant director.
