TONE IT DOWN<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just the exact way you say it to remind us of outdoing the box, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An imposing call to order, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

reminding us that we might just be doing too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, we paid dues with our heads buried under the waters <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And dreams dying in thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, we are advised to TONE IT DOWN!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denying ourselves of existing at their comfort,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we are made aliens in our birthplace, homes and even to ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say, the more the normality, the better the acceptance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have been taught to <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HATE<\/strong> who we are, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BE AFRAID<\/strong> of what we’ve become <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and BEAT DOWN <\/strong>at anything that takes our form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They say you do not have to be out and loud <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but you, you\u2026 While you stay flourishing in the regretful corner of your heart, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

your freedom is to impose restricting opinions on our expression of self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For what we love, who we are, brings us together and so that same…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the same is the joy to exist differently and free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How so sweet to consider our safety <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but it’s not in our position to apologize <\/p>\n\n\n\n

when they are not close to comfort with our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
